The service industry in the aspect of ordering food has scored a significant development in recent years. Nowadays, the ability to purchase a meal from a restaurant to your home is not limited to calling the establishment directly and settling with the food supplier. It is becoming difficult to find a FoodTech company that doesn't allow its customers to order food online or via a mobile app. What's more, options for billing via a digital wallet have also increased, giving users more options than before.
Openness to trends in the hospitality industry is embedded in its nature. Horeca is a field that requires constant change to constantly fit in with customer expectations. That's why I decided to prepare an article that will answer questions about which Horeca trends will influence the future. In addition, I will present Railwaymen's solutions created with this industry in mind, which can particularly facilitate the operation of its representatives.
The year 2022 is extremely busy for our company in terms of trips to various industry events. This time our sixth stop will be Saudi Arabia and the Saudi Horeca event, which will be held November 22-24, 2022 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC). As in the case of the last fair in Stuttgart (südback 2022), our delegates will share Railwaymen's experience in projects completed for the food service industry.
Digitization encompasses many spheres of life in which we interact daily. Standard processes are being replaced or supported by modern technology in the form of digital software. The perception of existing services is also changing, as evidenced by the restaurant business. That's why I decided to take a closer look at what solutions representatives of the food service industry are reaching for. What can be described as the best software for Restaurant Management service? What implementations does Railwaymen have in this area? I will answer these and other questions in the following text.
Who doesn't love the smell and taste of fresh bread or delicious sweets from a pastry shop? High expectations from consumers make representatives of the bakery and confectionery industry aim to increase the quality of their services. All this to delight the customer with their products and encourage more frequent use of their offer. For this purpose they reach for various means. One of them is the digitalization of the enterprise using web and mobile applications. In this article, I will try to give a glimpse of how app development can affect the business of the two mentioned industries.
The food service industry has always occupied an important place in Railwaymen's operations. During our several-year history, we have had the opportunity to create unique solutions for its members. Examples include the Shawarmer application for ordering food and controlling orders, or the development of eWallet in the Alamar customer application. Thus, we are very pleased that we will be participating as an exhibitor in the upcoming edition of südback 2022, which will be held October 22-25 at Messe Stuttgart.
For our company, the year 2022 is marked by trips to various trade shows. After traveling to Austin for the World of Concrete show, this time we'll be heading to another location in the United States. Our next destination will be Chicago for the National Restaurant Association Show 2022 (21-24 May). We are familiar with the restaurant business. And it's not just about our love of food.
Food delivery apps, who doesn't use it at least once? I have to say that it is hard for me to imagine life without on-demand food delivery apps. When I don't have an idea for dinner or simply don't have time for cooking, I reach for my phone, search for a restaurant near and within a few clicks order and pay for a meal in a food app. Then I can track the delivery time, so I don't have to worry about "Where is my food?". When the time of delivery is coming, a push notification notifies me about it. I found it as the easiest and most convenient way of food ordering.
The year 2020 has been incredibly harsh for the food industry and specifically for the restaurants. With no warning, they lost a major part of their income, and unfortunately, only some countries provided companies with an appropriate support grant. Despite the odds, the food business found its ways to increase income.
